Description
This landscape depicts a Metasequoia-dominated forest in Montana during the Campanian of the late Cretaceous. Gathering in a clearing are (left to right) Gorgosaurus libratus, Edmontonia longiceps, Brachylophosaurus canadensis, Stegoceras validum, Styracosaurus albertensis and Chasmosaurus belli. The above image was commissioned by the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Judith River Foundation for the exhibit entitled "Dinosaur Mummy CSI: Cretaceous Science Investigation", which features the mummified remains of a Brachylophosaurus canadensis duckbilled dinosaur
